Our mission, values, and vision aren't slogans — they are the living convictions that shape every decision, every Sunday, every relationship at ARCHE.
"Arche exists to glorify God, by making disciples of Jesus Christ to transform the world through a unified church."
These six values describe the culture we are trying to build — who we want to be, not just what we want to do.
Everything we build flows from the good news of Jesus Christ — his life, death, and resurrection. The gospel is not the entry point; it is the center.
The Bible is our final authority and the lens through which we interpret all of life. We read it carefully, preach it faithfully, and let it challenge and comfort us in equal measure.
We honor our Korean-American roots and the faith handed down to us, while building something new for the next generation growing up in Houston. Heritage and forward movement belong together.
We believe in belonging before behavior. People are worth knowing as they are — not as we hope they'll become. We are building a community where everyone has a place at the table.
We exist not just for ourselves. Every follower of Jesus is sent — into their neighborhood, workplace, and the world as an ambassador of Christ. Sunday is fuel for Monday.
We want to be deeply embedded in the rhythms of Houston — present, hopeful, and engaged with the city we call home. We are not retreating from culture; we are called into it.
We envision ARCHE as a thriving, multi-ethnic, gospel community in Houston — a place where the second generation finds its faith, not just inherits it, and where the next generation is formed into whole-life disciples who are deeply rooted and widely sent.
That means investing in leaders who will plant churches, mobilizing members who will serve Houston's most vulnerable, and building a Sunday community that is worth inviting your friends to.
"Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us — to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations."Ephesians 3:20–21
The best way to understand ARCHE is to be part of a Sunday. We'd love to meet you.
